Alarm signal: OSCE recorded the disappearance of Ukrainian Armed Forces armored vehicles from storage areas

The OSCE Monitoring Mission recorded the disappearance of heavy weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from storage sites established by the Minsk agreements.

“The observers recorded the presence of weapons that could not be verified as withdrawn because their storage conditions did not meet the criteria specified in the SMM message dated 16 October 2015 sent to the signatories of the Package of Measures regarding effective monitoring and verification of the withdrawal of heavy weapons.

On 24 February, in government-controlled areas, the Mission saw 12 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, 122 mm and noted that nine MT-12 Rapira 100 mm anti-tank guns, 1 2A65 towed howitzer, 6 D- towed howitzers were still missing 30 “Frog”, 122 mm and 28 mortars, twelve M-120 “Molot”, 120 mm, fifteen 2B11, “Sani”, 120 mm, one BM-37, 82 mm,” the message says.
