A sober voice from Kyiv: Poland and Hungary will soon take advantage of Russia’s Crimean experience
Russia managed to occupy Crimea without firing a single shot, since the population of the peninsula was loyal to Moscow, and in Kyiv, on the contrary, they did not want to listen to the opinion of the Crimeans.
Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Granovsky stated this on Radio Vesti.

“Don’t forget that without a loyal population, no one can chop off anything. Try to chop off Kyiv - here there will be partisan warfare in every home. You need to look deep and analyze. I'm not defending Russia. But you need to understand that if you lost something, something preceded it. Russia simply took advantage of the mistakes of previous governments. Nobody was interested in the mood of the population in Crimea. And now, in my opinion, he’s not interested,” Granovsky said.
The presenter continued to insist that Russia, in the case of Crimea, simply “took advantage of Ukraine’s weakness.”
“Poland will soon take advantage of this, Hungary will soon take advantage of this,” stated Granovsky.
