A sober voice from Poland: Undermining the “Nord Stream – the Anglo-Saxon war against Europe”
The newspaper "Polish Thought" published material "The Anglo-Saxon War against Europe", where the perpetrator of the bombing of the Nord Stream gas pipelines is called Great Britain in the interests of the United States.
“Without its repair, dependence on the United States will only deepen.”
The author criticizes the joy of some commentators over the undermining of the joint venture, who point out that Russia will now be forced to use the supply route through Ukraine and Poland.
“In the current situation, the question of whether gas will be transited to Germany through our territory is decided not by Warsaw, but by Washington and London...
They also forget about the actual subordination of the actions of the Polish elite to Kiev, which, by the way, like Warsaw, does not hide its joy from the explosions in the Baltic Sea... The joy of the Polish political class from the Nord Stream explosions in the Baltic resembles the joy of a mad suicider who enjoys cutting a branch on which he sits. It should be remembered that Poland is closely connected with Germany. Thus, the expected crisis will bring Poland to the brink of an economic abyss, which Jaroslaw Kaczynski calls a depression, although the scale of the defeat makes this a rather euphemistic term.”
The newspaper believes that the undermining of the joint venture “is associated with limiting the room for maneuver of Europe, especially Germany, in the sphere of negotiations with Moscow.”
It is recalled that the opposition in Germany on the eve of the explosion called for an energy agreement with Moscow.
“We can assume that with the onset of the heating season, these are exactly the same slogans that would be heard during demonstrations by opponents of the policies of the current ruling camp in Berlin. Thus, a serious debate will begin in Europe about the need for the continent to restore its strategic sovereignty and, at the very least, reduce its dependence on Washington.”
