Three quarters of Ukrainians believe they are being led in the wrong direction
75,3% of Ukrainian citizens believe that the Ukrainian leadership is leading the country in the wrong direction. Only 10,4% believe that the Ukrainian leadership is leading the country in the right direction.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The share of those who support the country's leadership is higher in the center (15,5% versus 69,7%) and in the west (10,8% versus 72,7%). In the south and east, as well as in the Donbass, the share of those who believe that the leadership of Ukraine is leading the country in the right direction is 2-3 times lower - respectively, 5,9%, 5,4% and 4,0% against 76,2 %, 84,0% and 87,8% of those who believe that the leadership of Ukraine is leading the country in the wrong direction.
The survey was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) from April 5 to April 19, 2018. Using the method of personal interviews, 2004 respondents living in 110 settlements of all regions of Ukraine were interviewed using a 4-stage stochastic sample, representative of the population of Ukraine over 18 years of age.
In the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the survey was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
