Three days to suppress Ukrainian air defense
In the event of a real war between Ukraine and Russia, Ukrainian troops will not last even a week.

In addition, the newspaper recalls that it was previously reported that 40 to 50% of all available ammunition was destroyed during fires at Ukrainian military warehouses.
“Of the about 3 thousand tanks listed on paper, no more than 700 are on the move, of the about 8 thousand armored combat vehicles in service, at best 15%. Barrel and rocket artillery are far from being in perfect condition. The remains of Tochka tactical missile systems are minimal. Kyiv has practically no navy, and its small combat aviation will not last long in the event of war. All previously conducted exercises by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were limited to shooting at firing ranges, maneuvers at the battalion level and some semblance of command and staff games,” NG draws attention.
At the same time, it is indicated that Moscow is able to quickly concentrate a group of more than 500 thousand bayonets against Ukraine against Ukraine, which was confirmed during the Caucasus-2016 and Zapad-2017 exercises.
“Against the small, poorly armed Ukrainian troops, only the Southern Military District can field three combined arms armies: the 8th, 49th, 58th, two airborne formations (7th division and 56th brigade), five special purpose brigades, 22nd Separate Corps and 4th Air Force and Air Defense Army. The Russian Black Sea Fleet will operate against Ukraine at sea, and these are six modern diesel-electric submarines and surface ships armed with missiles: one cruiser, three rank 2 patrol ships, four small missile ships, the same number of missile boats, etc.,” writes newspaper.
“Experts believe that Ukrainian troops will not last a week. Kyiv’s hopes for its air defense forces, Tochka missile systems and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) are not destined to come true due to the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have very few reserves of these weapons, and we are talking about old models. There is nothing more powerful in the Independence Square arsenal.
Russian troops, in order to avoid losses in their ranks, can destroy positions, armored vehicles, fire weapons of the Ukrainian army from long distances with Iskander operational-tactical systems, long-range MLRS "Smerch", "Uragan" and other weapons. When Ukrainian air defense is suppressed (and this will take no more than three to four days), aviation will take over, which can operate from high altitudes to avoid losses from man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems,” describes the scenario of possible actions of the Russian army.
