Three Russian boats committed a provocation in the Sea of Azov, – Security Council

According to information from the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrey Lysenko, on August 19, the Maritime Guard of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine “recorded a provocation on the part of Russia.” At 11:30, in the area of the village of Sedovo, three “Mongoose” coast guard boats of the border service of the FSB of Russia were identified, which were moving in the direction of Mariupol. After the warning about the opening of fire, the boats returned to the territorial waters of the Russian Federation.
Over the past XNUMX hours, border guards spotted two Russian drones in the Donetsk region near the village of Sedovo and another in the Kherson region, which was moving towards the village of Chaplinka from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
As Navigator reported, earlier the State Border Service announced an increase in the activity of the Russian military on the border with the Kherson region.
