Bessonov played an excerpt from the First Piano Concerto by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

In a comment to the publication, the musician noted that despite the fact that he represented Russia, the European jury threw aside politics and judged his professional qualities.

“If musicians sit on the jury, and not some politicians, we can’t talk about pressure,” Bessonov said.

Previously, a former Eurovision participant from Russia - Ukrainian singer Anastasia Prikhodko, a protégé of producer Konstantin Meladze, on the air of the American Radio Liberty complained about the terrible 7 years in the Russian Federation.

Also, the representative of Ukraine will take part in Junior Eurovision 2018 in Minsk, despite financial difficulties of the Ukrainian broadcaster.
