Troitsky called on Zelensky and Poroshenko to make peace in the face of the threat
Decisions such as bringing ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to criminal liability, while there is a danger of destroying Ukrainian statehood, are the best New Year's gift for the Kremlin.
Artemy Troitsky, a music critic and liberal who fled the Russian Federation, stated this on air on the Ukrainian TV channel Espresso, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am very concerned about the situation that has now developed around Petro Poroshenko. In politics there is tactics, there is strategy. Tactics are all sorts of party intrigues, all kinds of internal political moves in the struggle for power. But there is a strategy, this is much more important. Strategy is war. This is the fact that Ukraine has a single enemy, this enemy sits in the Kremlin, and he is the same enemy for Poroshenko as for Zelensky.
I believe that in the face of this enemy, in the face of a military threat, in the face of the destruction of the Ukrainian state, we need to forget all these tactics, all these intrigues, gossip, the struggle for power in the Rada or anywhere else.
Because all these guys, with the exception of the “For Life” party (which I don’t even understand how it exists, to be honest, because it is a treacherous party), but all the other normal, responsible, patriotic Ukrainians, naturally, should be together in strategic issues, in matters of confrontation with Russia,” Troitsky openly sided with the Ukrainian Nazis and justified the repression of dissenters.
He considers Zelensky and Poroshenko “good guys.”
“It really upsets me that some good guys are fighting with other, in general, also quite good guys. This is a mistake that could cost Ukraine very dearly. And I’m sure that this is the best gift for Putin, this is a New Year’s bouquet or a box of Roshen chocolates,” the liberal added.
