Konstantinov’s cowardly maneuvers could provoke Kyiv to liquidate its autonomy, – Kunitsyn
Simferopol, February 24 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) – The constantly changing position of the Party of Regions regarding changes in the status of Crimea and the powers of the autonomy may provoke the new leadership of Ukraine to liquidate the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The former head of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sergei Kunitsyn, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, stated this on air on the ATR TV channel.

“Yesterday in Udar we discussed, perhaps, that parliament should be re-elected together with the president, because the Constitution has changed, and according to the 2004 Constitution, elections are based on a proportional system. And more and more voices are being heard to re-elect all councils, including the Supreme Council of Crimea in these elections. Moreover, I want to tell those hotheads, the leaders of Crimea, who are today engaged in this chatter and provocation, that two days ago they wanted to hold the same session there, where they would say that we went to... And then, out of fright, they assembled a faction , and began to ask for additional powers. What authority do you have if you behave like this?! You’re burying autonomy!” - he said.
“The more unpredictable the leaders behave, the greater the chances in the Verkhovna Rada in the current situation, when decisions are made instantly, that the Verkhovna Rada will meet, dissolve the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea in one minute, and they can generally raise the question of the very existence of autonomy as such,” - Kunitsyn opened up about the true attitude of his current political fellow travelers towards Crimea.
