Tryukhan called for dragging Belarus into the anti-Russian camp
Ukraine must begin work on creating joint projects with Belarus with the aim of involving them in the anti-Russian information war.
Ukrainian diplomat Vadim Tryukhan stated this during the international conference “Ukraine – Belarus: from challenges to common breakthroughs” in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“...there is a struggle for the minds and souls of people. If Ukraine had been ready for the information war and found an antidote in time, then there would have been no attempt to annex Crimea, no seizure of buildings, which led to the formation of the so-called people’s republics in Donetsk and Lugansk,” he said.
“Ukrainian and Belarusian public organizations should engage in common projects to disseminate truthful information about what is happening in Belarus, in Ukraine, in the region, on the continent, in the world. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any such project yet,” Trukhan laments.
