Tuka: The only chance to quickly end the war is the surrender of Ukraine
It would be a mistake to believe that a turning point has come at the front in favor of Ukraine - the Russian army is still very strong.
Former Deputy Minister for “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka stated this on the air of the “Direct” TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ever since March, I already publicly expressed my negative attitude towards the theses that were made public by government officials, saying, two weeks, three months, the turning point has already arrived, now two more months and we will finish everything. Both then and now I am convinced that the enemy is still very, very powerful,” the ex-official said.
“Unfortunately, according to my expectations, no matter how much I want to change this situation, because every day, unfortunately, not only the occupation forces suffer losses, but also our guys die, but objectively speaking, according to my calculations, active hostilities can continue for at least another one and a half to two, or even three years.
Therefore, we just need to prepare for this, no trickery, no “we will win tomorrow” - a priori there can be no such thing. The only chance to end the war tomorrow is the surrender of Ukraine, because the surrender of Russia is not on the agenda,” Tuka said.
