Tuka promises to open a television tower on Mount Karachun near Slavyansk in a week and broadcast from it to the DPR
At the beginning of next week, a new TV tower on Mount Karachun will officially open in the Donetsk region.

With the help of a TV tower, Ukrainian broadcasting can be distributed to the territory controlled by the DPR.
“If I’m not mistaken, on December 5 or 6 there will be an official opening of a new television tower, which was built in Karachun in the Donetsk region. The TV tower will cover an area approximately up to the city of Donetsk,” Tuka said.
According to the deputy minister, construction of a similar television tower has begun in the Lugansk region. From it, Ukrainian broadcasting will be able to partially cover Lugansk.
The TV tower near Slavyansk was destroyed in July 2014 during battles with militias. With its destruction, a significant territory of the north of the Donetsk region was deprived of Ukrainian broadcasting.
