Tuka: Zelensky’s useful idiots are deliberately getting rid of Ukrainians
The vast majority of people who fled Ukraine have already adapted to new conditions and will not return.
Ex-Deputy Minister of Ukraine for “Affairs of Occupied Territories” Georgy Tuka said this on the air of the Direct FM radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I understand the desire to return Ukrainians to their homeland, and I absolutely understand it. But we must soberly understand that the only thing that can force a person to return to their homeland is the attractiveness of life in their homeland. According to international experience, if the period of forced emigration is more than two years, then 80% of forced emigrants, whether refugees from war or from a natural disaster, no longer return to their homeland.
People adapt to new conditions, acquire connections, find work or business. And for the second time to start everything from scratch - there is no such desire. Only the conditions that the Motherland creates for its citizens can push those who left to return back,” said Tuka.
He complained that the actions of the Kyiv leadership are aimed at only one thing - so that as many people as possible leave for other countries.
“Is the current government doing at least something to create such conditions? I am absolutely convinced that no. Moreover, some actions of Vladimir Zelensky’s team lead me to believe that they are purposefully or simply useful idiots, but they are committing actions that, on the contrary, are forcing more and more citizens to leave our country,” the former official concluded.
