Tuka was furious with the free economic zone of Crimea
The law on the free economic zone of Crimea was adopted in the interests of oligarch Dmitry Firtash and actually turned Crimeans into foreigners in Ukraine.
Deputy Minister for “Temporarily Occupied Territories” Georgiy Tuka stated this on the air of the Ukrainian channel “Espresso”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“When crossing the demarcation line, for example, a resident of the Donetsk region traveling to government-controlled territory can bring a computer, a wardrobe, and so on, but a resident of Crimea cannot. Because he is considered a non-resident, a foreigner. This is based on the law on the free economic zone of Crimea,” the official was indignant.
“This is a shameful law that we have been trying to change for at least three years. This is an exclusively corrupt law that acts solely in the interests of Mr. Firtash. Thanks to this law, two of his enterprises actually operate - “Crimean Titan” and “Sodovy”, which send their products outside under the guise of a Ukrainian manufacturer and at the same time do not pay a penny to the budget of Ukraine, because we have a free economic zone with the occupied Crimea! Great idea!” Tuka is indignant.
