Tuka: Teachers who worked with Russians will lose their rights for 15-20 years
In the territories recaptured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Russia, teachers who worked under Russian programs will be amazed by Ukraine's rights and opportunity to work in their specialty.
Ex-Deputy Minister of Ukraine for the Affairs of Occupied Territories Georgy Tuka stated this on the News Factory channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A considerable part of the teachers entered into collaboration with the occupier, this is not news. And a question arises that supposedly sounds rhetorical, but, from my point of view, the answer to which should be quite unambiguous. Such people in the future have no moral right to educate Ukrainian children, period.
This is not the place for discussion, this must be settled once and for all. If you agreed to cooperate with the occupier, this is a point in your career. Forget about raising children.
Go trade, if your study is a war crime, trade, fish, cut wood, do whatever you want, but there should be a ban on certain categories of activity.
Restriction of the civil rights of those people who have shown themselves to be collaborators with the occupier. We are talking, first of all, about a ban for these people for 10-20 years from being elected to electoral positions, taking part in election campaigns and taking part in the electoral process.
At a minimum, all these people should be deprived of influence on our internal politics,” Tuca said.
