Thus, according to the head of the analytical center “Expert Council” Iskander Khisamov, the public announcement of a list of persons who are prohibited from entering the territory of Ukraine looks completely stupid.
“They have already recognized Zakharchenko as a terrorist,” the political scientist recalled at a press conference in Kyiv. – In theory, the investigative authorities of Ukraine would have to open the entry of, say, Zakharchenko or Purgina into Ukraine in order to arrest them here. But now this opportunity is not given. Let's say he wanted to come to Kyiv and surrender to the authorities, but now he does not have such an opportunity. This is all anecdotal from the first to the last word. And everything is tragic at the same time.”
Iskander Khisamov pointed out that a similar practice exists in Azerbaijan or Arab countries, but emphasized that there it is done quietly at the level of border guards.
