Acting President of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov, who is on a visit to Slavyansk, said that today he is ready to make a decision on the resumption of government activities in the city. According to him, after returning to Kyiv, he will prepare a decree on the appointment of the chairman of the local administration from among the military, the 1+1 TV channel reports.
As Navigator reported, today the security forces announced that they had taken control of the city. According to local residents, the military is checking documents - registration and citizenship - to find the militia.
