Turchynov: Lithuania is a new fraternal country of Ukraine instead of Russia
Instead of Russia, Ukraine now has another fraternal country. Now Lithuania has become my best friend. Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov stated this on Channel 5.

“Between our countries there are not just partnerships, but fraternal ones. Lithuanian politicians were among the first Europeans to speak at our Maidan, when it was still not clear how the revolution of dignity would end. This support that we receive from the Lithuanian people, the president and the government is sincere,” Turchynov said.
He also emphasized that Lithuania is one of the few EU countries that does not hide the fact that it gives Ukraine weapons: “When we talk about military cooperation, Lithuania is one of the European countries that understands that Russian aggression is a threat not only to Ukraine , and all European security. That is why they do not hide the fact that they have military-technical cooperation with us, unlike many countries that block arms supplies to Ukraine.”
