Turchynov promises every Ukrainian a helicopter that will save them from potholes on the roads
The production of helicopters in Ukraine is reaching such a level that soon this means of transportation will become available to any Ukrainian.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov stated this during a working visit to enterprises producing helicopters, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“New production facilities for helicopters of various classes are being created in our state. The products of the powerful Motor Sich enterprise are known throughout the world, but recently six new enterprises for the production of light helicopters have already been created in the country. Today we visited two such production facilities in the Kyiv region alone,” said the NSDC Secretary.
According to him, young promising designers and engineers are creating light multi-purpose helicopters that can be used by border troops, to localize emergency situations, for reconnaissance in the armed forces and to perform tactical-level combat missions.
“But apart from the security and defense sector, helicopter production is a very promising area for the civilian sector. Light helicopters are increasingly being used as a means of transport. In Ukraine, the time has come to look at it not as some amazing device. You yourself know that we have many problems with road construction, many plans, but they are difficult to implement. What’s interesting is that our sky is of the best European standard. There is no need to repair potholes in the sky, and it is difficult to steal money from it. Helicopters of various designs may be in great demand today,” Turchynov explained.
“The price offered by Ukrainian manufacturers is an order of magnitude lower than their foreign counterparts. The helicopters we saw today are already affordable for the average entrepreneur,” he noted.
Let us add that at the end of the excursion, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine was given a ride in a helicopter.
