Turchinov refused to comply with the demand of the "Right Sector" on the resignation of Avakov

Kyiv, March 28 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - The Verkhovna Rada on Friday morning, contrary to the demands of the Right Sector radicals, did not consider the issue of the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, whom nationalists consider guilty of the death of Alexander Muzychko - “Sashka Bilyo” during an attempt detention by police.

Instead, at the suggestion of Speaker Alexander Turchinov, Parliament created a commission to investigate the circumstances of Muzychko’s death.

“To avoid any provocations, secrets or rumors, Verkhovna Rada must provide a clear and transparent verification of the circumstances of this person’s death. I would ask respected deputies that the first issue we adopt is the creation of a temporary commission of the Verkhovna Rada to investigate the circumstances,” Turchinov said.

He sharply criticized yesterday's attempts to storm the Rada building by activists of the "Right Sector".

“An attempt to destabilize the situation in the Center, in Kyiv, is precisely this task that the leadership of the Russian Federation sets for its special services... Yesterday, some citizens tried to carry out a provocation near the Verkhovna Rada... I want to say that the Ukrainian parliament is the foundation of the legal Ukrainian government. Without him, power cannot exist. Like it or not, there is no other parliament today. For those who want to change parliament, there is only one way - to vote in fair elections,” Turchinov said.

“I thank all the patriots and deputies of the Verkhovna Rada who did not allow provocation, did not allow

to undermine the situation and sow anarchy,” the speaker added.
