“The SBU must prepare and submit for consideration to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine a list of officials from the European Parliament, as well as politicians from the countries of the European Union, the CIS and Latin America, who, according to Russian media reports, arrived on a three-day visit to the annexed Crimea,” the press quotes Turchynov as saying. According to Turchynov, if this information is confirmed, the issue of imposing sanctions against them will be considered at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
“In addition, information about the participation of Ukrainian citizens in this propaganda campaign is also subject to verification, and if their presence in Crimea is confirmed, criminal proceedings should be opened in accordance with current legislation,” Turchynov said.
