Turchinov invites the West to prepare for the division of Russia
Russia is on the verge of collapse. The whole world should now be thinking about minimizing the risks around former Russian nuclear weapons.
Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov writes about this in his article.

“The future of the Russian nuclear arsenals is a key issue of global security that must be resolved in close cooperation between nuclear-weapon states. And we should think about this and other aspects of the controlled dismantling of the remnants of the former empire now.
Leading democratic countries need to understand that the totalitarian-militarist agony and the corresponding collapse of the Russian Federation are irreversible processes. We need to take this calmly and rationally, without helping Russia in continuing this agony,” Turchinov says and once again calls for strengthening sanctions and putting pressure on the Russian economy.
“We need to adjust our medium-term plans taking into account the isolation of this country in economic, technological and migration terms. Accordingly, tough sanctions should be viewed not as a temporary campaign, but as a consistent policy that creates conditions for the self-destruction of the remnants of an aggressive empire,” states the Security Council Secretary.
