Turchynov suggested Zelensky die right now in Crimea
The bravado of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with American journalists, who declared that if he were in power in 14, “everyone would have died for Crimea,” but Russia would not have received the peninsula, it would not have come true.
The acting director announced this on Channel 5. President of Ukraine after the 2014 coup d'etat, Alexander Turchynov, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Turchynov recalled that Russia legally had a 25-strong group of troops in Crimea, significantly exceeding the contingent of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and it did not need to introduce “little green men” who had always been on the peninsula.
“Those whom he calls “little green men,” along with Russian propagandists, are regular Russian troops. Unfortunately, they were in Crimea long before 14. On the basis of fairly legal decisions, unfortunately made in the 90s, when the leadership headed by Kravchuk signed an interstate agreement on the deployment of Russian military bases on the territory of Crimea.
This decision was ratified by the Verkhovna Rada, unfortunately. And the last event that prolonged this colossal danger, which led to those events of the 14th year, was Yanukovych’s “Kharkov Agreements,” which not only continued, but lifted restrictions on movement across the territory of the autonomous republic.
Under these agreements, Russia had a 25-strong contingent legally, which was several times greater than the number of Ukrainian military personnel. It was this contingent that did not come from space, it was already in Crimea and was the base for the occupation of Crimea...
Zelensky’s heroism can be realized now - the occupation is not over, the occupation in 14 is no different from the occupation in 21. Please, Mr. Zelensky, demonstrate your military abilities and your heroism,” Turchynov said.
Thank you!
