“When you give a command and it is not carried out, it is a terrible thing. What was it like in Crimea? The army demanded an order from us to retreat, although we demanded to shoot. People psychologically could not readjust. We stomped around Slavyansk for a week. And then one of the unit leaders took three officers, a sniper rifle and showed how it was done. I can’t tell you everything, but they were powerless and lethargic. Three months were spent finding people who are now, like bull terriers, tearing everyone apart,” said Pvshinsky.
At the same time, he admitted that in Crimea, where Kyiv demanded that the military start a war, the population really supported reunification with Russia.
“Russia’s support there is extremely high. The majority of Crimean residents really wanted to become part of the Russian Federation,” Pashinsky said.
