“The terrorists, who took virtually the entire Donetsk region hostage, have long since crossed the line of humanity. Armed criminals seize administrative buildings, take citizens hostage, in particular Ukrainian and foreign journalists, torture and kill patriots of Ukraine,” Turchynov said in his appeal.
“Taking into account the real danger and the need to protect people, we have restored the anti-terrorist operation, which is being systematically and consistently implemented with the aim of completely localizing the terrorist threat and protecting civilians of our country,” he emphasized.
According to him, “The Russian Federation coordinates and openly supports murderous terrorists operating with weapons in their hands in the East of our country.”
