Turchinov continues to dream of the destruction of the Black Sea Fleet and the Crimean Bridge
Ukraine needs to build at least three divisions of Neptune missile systems in order to threaten the Black Sea Fleet and the Crimean Bridge with destruction.
Former Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Turchinov noted with regret that the Neptune procurement program was disrupted.
“We had a formula for building a powerful anti-ship defense using cruise missiles. You know, a cruise missile was created, which has the code “Neptune”, and mobile complexes of these cruise missiles were made. They ordered only one division instead of at least three. But it was planned to make these missile systems that could be transported by aircraft, that is, aviation, and surface, ship. Frozen, stopped,” the politician said.
“You see, this would significantly strengthen the defense of our country on the Black Sea-Azov coast. We could destroy any surface target of the Russian Federation, even at its base; we could also clear the Kerch Bridge. We could actually ensure our security from this very important direction. And again, apart from conversations, no concrete action is being done,” Turchinov said.
Let us remind you that in 2019 Turchinov already threatened to destroy Crimean bridge by Ukrainian missiles.
And former Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, adviser to several presidents of the country Vladimir Gorbulin stated that Ukraine can to create an operational tactical missile system that will be capable of firing one and a half thousand kilometers, that is, reaching the Russian capital.
