Russia cannot take a step without talented Ukrainians, military factories left over from the times of the Ukrainian SSR. Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov stated this in his article published today by state media.
According to him, without the resources of Ukraine, the Russian Federation cannot defeat NATO.

“Like almost 100 years ago, Russia needs the power of Ukrainian industry, primarily the defense industry, which the Kremlin failed to replace in the 25 years after the collapse of the USSR. To have any chance of a successful confrontation with NATO, Russian armed forces must strengthen themselves in Ukrainian territories, at least along the banks of the Dnieper. Saving the Russian economy, which is rapidly degrading, according to the Kremlin strategists, requires the involvement of Ukrainian resources, including the hands and brains of millions of Ukrainians,” Turchynov said.
