Turchynov: The real turnout in the Lugansk region is 24%, in the Donetsk region – 32%
Kyiv, May 11 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The actual turnout at the referendum on self-determination of Donbass, which is not recognized by official Kyiv, was 24% in the Lushan region and 32% of residents of the Donetsk region who have the right to vote.
This was stated by the acting President Alexander Turchynov at a meeting of the conciliation council in the Verkhovna Rada.

“This farce was not carried out in many cities,” Turchinov clarified.
According to him, the so-called The anti-terrorist operation in Donbass will continue. “We will do everything to stabilize the situation,” Turchynov said.
He claims that “at night, joint patrols of the police and representatives of MMK Ilyich and Azovstal resumed, which makes it possible to talk about the stabilization of the situation in Mariupol.”
As Navigator reported, referendums on regional self-determination were held yesterday in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. In the Luhansk region, 94–98% of those who voted were in favor of the independence of the region. In the Donetsk region, this figure is 89%, the DPR Central Election Commission said.
