Turchynov: soon Ukrainians will live so well that they will need a “great wall of China” from envious Russians
The introduction of a visa regime with the Russian Federation will become a reliable protection against the penetration of “enemy agents and terrorists” into Ukraine.

This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
“When Europe opens its doors for us, we must make sure that the bearers of the anti-European aggressive ideology of the “Russian world”, terrorists, saboteurs, provocateurs, criminals and others do not enter these doors. And, first of all, we must protect ourselves from this dangerous infection,” he said.
According to Turchinov, while the discussion on this topic continues, it is necessary to take certain measures, in particular, to let in Russian citizens only with international biometric passports. “We must put up a reliable barrier that protects the country from penetration by enemy agents, terrorists, and separatists,” he added.
Turchynov also believes that soon the standard of living in Ukraine will be higher than in Russia. And then Kyiv will need a “Chinese wall” to fence itself off from envious Russians.
“When we achieve that Ukrainians have promising and well-paid jobs in Ukraine, everyone who is now against the introduction of visas with the Russian Federation will demand not only a visa regime, but also the construction of a fence on the border, more serious than the Great Wall of China,” he said Turchinov.
