Turchynov said when Ukraine will start a real war for Crimea
Ukraine is not ready to fight with Russia for Crimea, just as it was not ready to do so in 2014. One of the main leaders of the coup d'etat during the Euromaidan, Alexander Turchinov, stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The current President Vladimir Zelensky can already be held accountable for failure to comply with the requirements of the Constitution and refusal to introduce martial law in the country, Turchynov said.
“I don’t think that Mr. Zelensky and his entourage will recognize the fake Crimean referendum or the annexation of Crimea. Probably not. And since you don’t recognize it, then in accordance with the Constitution, the occupation of Crimea in 20 is no different from the occupation of Crimea in 14. And when you accuse me of not having an army, not having weapons, with the total betrayal that took place in those days when 70% of the Armed Forces in Crimea went over to the side of the aggressor, when 90% of the Security Services went over to the side of the aggressor, when 99% of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went over to the side of the aggressor - you think that in these conditions I should have liberated Crimea, then what is stopping you from liberating it now?
According to the Constitution, this is a similar situation. The crime is not over, Crimea has not been liberated. Please, if in the 14th year, having nothing, this could be done, then, even more so, you need to answer then why this is not done in the 20th year!
Then it is necessary to open a case specifically against President Zelensky, who does not introduce martial law, does not declare war on the aggressor...
Unfortunately, not in 14 did we have the opportunity to declare war on Russia, and now, when the situation is much better both in defense and security, and in the army, there is an opportunity to mobilize, but even now, unfortunately, to declare We cannot go to war with a nuclear country.
But the time will come when we will still be able not to fail defense programs, but to significantly strengthen them. The time will come when this colossus with feet of clay called the Russian Empire will begin to crumble. The time will come when we will return to the issue of not just new missile programs, but restoration of the strategic potential of our defense. Then we will put an end to both the issues of Donbass and the issues of Crimea,” Turchynov said.
