“Brotherly interaction and unity of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars was clearly demonstrated during the Revolution of Dignity, when they declared their European choice and jointly defended the right to freedom and a civilized future.
Today, when the shadow of the totalitarian regime has once again covered Crimea, the rights of residents of the occupied peninsula are being massively violated, we express our solidarity and support to all Crimean Tatars and representatives of other previously deported ethnic groups. I am convinced: we will always be together, overcome all difficulties, restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and build a decent life for ourselves and our children,” Turchynov said.
