Kyiv, March 11 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine will not attempt to dislodge Russian troops from Crimea, since in this case Moscow will receive a pretext for invading Donbass.
This was announced at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the acting President Alexander Turchinov.

He called politicians calling for an immediate military operation on the peninsula “provocateurs.”
According to Turchinov, the operation in Crimea “will open the eastern border to direct aggression.” “This will not happen,” he promised, adding that “Russian troops continue to be located along the eastern borders of Ukraine.”
“We are talking about a threat to our entire power... The armed forces have been brought to full combat readiness, all-Ukrainian military exercises have begun, and we clearly see the state of our army, the state to which the Yanukovych-Azarov team has brought it. In fact, we are starting to rebuild the armed forces from scratch,” added Turchinov.
“The new Ukrainian government will not allow political repression, but will toughly fight any manifestations of separatism,” he also promised.
