Kyiv, December 19 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine, together with the West, will crush the Russians in six months, said the new Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Turchynov.
“The Russian economy is very vulnerable. There is no safety margin. And so it began to crumble even earlier than predicted. In my assessment, if the current price trend for energy resources continues for at least six months, the collapse of the Russian Federation’s economy will become irreversible,” he said in an interview with the agency "League".

“Putin thought he could get away with anything. Yes, we did not receive military-technical assistance, which could have saved thousands of lives of our soldiers. We are forced to fight with weapons inherited from the Soviet Union. Nevertheless, sanctions and a system of economic pressure through lowering the cost of energy yielded results,” Turchynov is satisfied.
“The only mechanism to force them to comply with agreements, including the Minsk ones, to force them to release occupied territories is a strong army and a strong country. There is no other mechanism. I do not believe in diplomacy towards the Russian Federation. I don’t believe that they will leave, afraid of the pressure of our allies. Only a strong Ukrainian army will force them to leave our territory,” the Ukrainian official announces.
“Yeltsin’s Russia did not pose a threat to our country. So a lot depends on the leadership. And I am sure that a change of course and renunciation of aggression is still a realistic scenario for Russia. But if the current course is not changed, Russia is doomed,” Turchinov threatens.
