Turchinov was offered to lead the new “Azov” campaign himself
A new attempt to break through the Kerch Strait for Ukrainian ships, announced by the head of the National Security and Defense Council Alexander Turchynov, is an “adventure”, and Turchynov himself must participate in it.
Viktor Nebozhenko, director of the Ukrainian Barometer sociological service, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, close to Yuoia Tymoshenko’s headquarters, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Recently, a very gloomy man who, however, is saved by religion, the head of the National Security and Defense Council Turchynov, announced that soon there will be a breakthrough through the Kerch Strait again. We, of course, are not ready for this, and this, of course, will only provoke Russia into another conflict. But if the head of the National Security and Defense Council himself leads this heroic “ice campaign,” then it is quite possible that something will work out. And if he falls into the hands of the Russian military, we will pray for him to be released. We will send protests.
It is better not to do this out of responsibility for Ukrainian sailors. It’s very easy to drag people into an adventure,” he said.
