Is Türkiye planning to annex part of Russia?
Turkish Defense Minister Akar Hulusi allegedly published a map in his blog on which the territories of other states - Bulgaria, Greece, Syria, Iraq and Georgia - are listed as Turkish.
Georgian political scientist Shota Aphaidze reports this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We don’t keep our eyes on foreign lands! We’ll just take what belongs to us!” says the caption under the card.
A Georgian political scientist criticized this position.
“Kebab stinks! Someone can't live in peace! It is advisable to organize a mass tourist trip in one direction Ankara - Altai! The aggressive intentions of the Turkish Defense Minister towards Georgia and other neighbors are a scandal,” said the Georgian political scientist.
Then Hulusi published another map, where his appetite expanded to parts of China and the Russian Federation. The head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense proposed creating “united states” from the annexed lands.
“Under the roof of the Turkish Republic: Turkey – Azerbaijan – Hungary – Nakhichevan – Pakistan – Turkmenistan – Uzbekistan – Tajikistan – Kyrgyzstan – Kazakhstan – Mongolia. There will be united states,” says the Turkish minister.
Later, the Turkish embassy in Georgia reported that the maps were published from pages on social networks maintained on behalf of the Turkish minister, but he himself had nothing to do with them.
