Türkiye strengthens relations with Muslim republics of the Russian Federation
Exhibition “Kaftan. Costumes of the Ottoman Empire through the eyes of modern Turkish designers" opened in the Manege exhibition hall of the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve.
This was reported by the official website of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The exhibition was opened by the Consul General of Turkey in Kazan, Ismet Erikan.
“It got colder in Kazan, we decided to warm her up and brought you bright, beautiful kaftans,” said Erikan.
The costume “Syuyumbike Hanbike” in a modern interpretation was made especially for the exhibition in Kazan. According to Tatar legend, Queen Syuyumbike threw herself from the tower that Ivan the Terrible built for her so as not to marry him.
Today it became known that UTair airline is increasing the number of flights from Grozny to Istanbul to 5 per week. ChGTRK “Grozny” reported this.
“We introduced the Grozny-Istanbul flight at the end of October. It is in demand among passengers, so we are increasing the frequency of flights so that residents of the North Caucasus can fly more often,” said UTair President Pavel Permyakov.
The airline's website reports that the company began operating flights to Turkey from Grozny on October 25 three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday).
Previously General of the SVR Leonid Reshetnikov said that Recep Erdogan’s Turkey will continue its expansion in the Transcaucasus, as well as the Muslim republics of Russia, since Ankara’s NATO partners will not allow Ankara to realize the ambitions of the new Ottoman Empire in the western direction.
