Turkish military aircraft violated Greek airspace

Türkiye continues to escalate the situation in the Aegean Sea region. Today, eight Turkish combat aircraft and one drone invaded Greek airspace.

According to available information, six Turkish F-16s, two spy CN-235s and one UAV flew over the Greek sky.
Violations were recorded in the northeast and southeast Aegean Sea. At least four vehicles were moving while fully armed.
Greek military aircraft were alerted and carried out three interceptions of Turkish vehicles.
According to the Greek defense ministry, the interception was carried out “in accordance with international regulations, in accordance with established practice.”
