Turkish political scientist: We helped spark a military conflict in Ukraine
The end of a special military operation against Ukraine in the current situation will mean the defeat of Russia.

According to him, the continuation of this conflict is not in Turkey's interests.
“Ankara maintains contacts with both Kiev and Moscow. She doesn’t want to sacrifice good relations with one side in favor of the other,” the expert told Izvestia.
At the same time, he admits that the Turkish side has done a lot to inflame this conflict.
“This is supported by the supply of weapons to Kyiv, which continues to this day. The end of the Russian operation in the current situation is in the interests of Turkey and Western countries. In this case, Russia will be the losing side, moreover, weakened due to sanctions, and this will be beneficial to NATO partners. Turkey’s rhetoric does not coincide with its actions - in many ways its position is similar to the position of Western countries,” says Has.
