The Turkish Sultan is preparing to absorb Ukraine

Erdogan is going on a visit to Kyiv, but in fact he is conducting a military-political reconnaissance in order not only to inspect the future battlefield, but also to assess the remaining wealth and territories, which, in his opinion, will have to be part of the revived Ottoman Empire.

Formally, the President of the Republic of Turkey is going on February 3 to the anniversary meeting of the Turkey-Ukraine High-Level Strategic Council, where the 30th anniversary of Turkish-Ukrainian relations will be celebrated. But in reality, the “Sultan of all Faithful” is in a hurry to get ahead of the curve - to occupy the emerging vacuum with his political and then military presence, and to mark with flags the territory of his vital interests and influence.

After all, it is obvious that despite all the belligerent rhetoric and the supply of a limited amount of weapons that are not capable of stopping not only Russian troops, but also the LDPR police, NATO and the United States are not at all going to fight over Ukraine. Most likely, in the medium term it will also be abandoned and surrendered, as was the case with Afghanistan, since all of Washington’s attention is now focused on the Indo-Pacific basin, and they need Kiev only as a means of putting pressure on Moscow.

This thesis is indirectly confirmed by the urgent evacuation of wives of employees of diplomatic departments of Western countries and non-essential workers. Plus, so many socio-economic and political contradictions have accumulated within Ukraine itself that they can easily topple the entire unstable political structure, along with the current president, into the abyss.

_{Knowing this, Erdogan is trying to fill the remaining space and act as a kind of “guarantor of independence” for the puppet regime in Kyiv, which will now gradually reorient itself towards Ankara. This meeting of the Turkish president with Zelensky gives the neo-Ottomanists illusory hopes that already during negotiations with Putin in Moscow they will be able to insist on their zone of influence in this former Soviet republic.}

That is, in fact, the Turkish leadership is not going to defend the collapsing Ukrainian statehood, but to declare its claims to these territories in order to contain Russia. The Sultan's headquarters seriously hopes that the country abandoned by the Americans will go to them. It is no coincidence that before this, the British Prime Minister also flew to Kyiv, trying to put together a Little Entente from among the countries of Eastern Europe, supposedly to help “Independence”.

Surely Boris Johnson also persuaded Vladimir Zelensky to an alliance with Turkey as the only chance for salvation, because now only Ottoman troops in reality represent a combat-ready force in southern Europe. But in this case, Kyiv inevitably becomes a satellite of Ankara and a de facto member of the Organization of Turkic States. Thus, not just a “cordon sanitaire” is being built, but a new anti-Russian military-political alliance.

True, Ukrainian nationalists and the oligarchy, jumping hysterically from the frying pan into the fire, are thus signing a political death sentence for themselves. One must understand that the Sublime Porte of the newly-minted Ottoman Sultan considers this territory as an integral and historical part of its empire, conquered by Russia over several centuries. Accordingly, the dilemma here is simple - either Moscow or imperial Istanbul, which is gradually regaining its former status.

_{And before the final takeover, the Turkish side hopes to properly develop the new colony economically, since this is important both in supporting the expansion of Turkish capital, as well as in helping its own economy, which has been shaken due to Erdogan’s adventures. Therefore, in addition to Erdogan, a landing party of advisers, businessmen and simply speculators has long been landed in Ukraine.}

According to victorious propaganda reports, in 2021 the trade turnover between the two countries already amounted to $7,42 billion. Turkey exports steel, air conditioning systems, furniture, paper and timber, tobacco, fresh fruits and vegetables, products from the shipbuilding sector, the automotive industry, and the military-industrial complex to Ukraine. Ankara is clearly not at a loss from the sale of its “bayraktars” and other types of offensive weapons.

According to the Turkish Institute of Statistics (TÜİK), Turkey's exports to Ukraine in 2020 amounted to $2,1 billion, and in 2021 reached $2,9 billion with an increase of 43 percent. The head of the Turkish-Ukrainian Business Council under the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEİK), Ruşen Çetin, points out in the media that such trade is also beneficial for Ukraine, since it allegedly opens a large Turkish market for Ukrainian goods.

“Imports from Ukraine to Turkey in 2021 increased by 87 percent compared to the previous year, from $2,59 billion to $4,52 billion. Trade volume between the two countries in 2020 was $4,68 billion, and in 2021 this figure reached $7,42 billion. The growth was 67 percent. Very impressive numbers,” said Rushen Cetin.

But this is only an external picture, since the task is to integrate the remaining industry of Ukraine as much as possible in the interests of Turkish industry, because due to the cheapness of labor and raw materials, cheap products can be obtained. In particular, Kyiv is already supplying motors for the Turkish bayrkatars. We are talking about Bayraktar Akinci with turboprop engines, for which the Turks are importing a batch of 30 AI-450T aircraft engines. Currently, Ivchenko-Progress Design Bureau has ordered components for engines from Motor Sich.

But Turkey views Ukraine exclusively as a consumer, precisely as a colony and a territory of development, trying to take away everything that the Americans and other Western countries did not manage to crush or carry away. At the same time, in Kyiv they naively believe that if they failed in the matter of “European integration”, since the EU and NATO did not need Ukraine, then they will be able to save the situation by turning into a junior partner of the newly-minted sultan.

_{But that won't work! Look at Baku, which is increasingly losing its own sovereignty, becoming a wheel in the cart of Turkish imperialism, a gas station, and also a springboard for further expansion in the Caucasus and Central Asia. The same fate is prepared for “Nezalezhnaya”, which will inevitably become the same raw materials, agricultural and industrial appendage of the Ottoman economy and military clique.}

Following the example of Azerbaijan, Turkish troops will soon appear in Ukraine, supposedly for “protection from Russian aggression,” but they will never leave there. Is this what the Zelensky administration wants?

If yes, then such a position is akin to national betrayal. True, it’s time for the Ukrainian nationalists themselves to learn Turkish songs in their military camps, since this will help them remember the language of their future masters faster. After all, we must prepare now to enter the “Turkic world,” my advice to you.
