A Turkmen student died after jumping from a Kyiv bridge after a refusal to renew her residence permit in Ukraine
An 18-year-old Turkmen student of the Kyiv National Medical University. Bogomolets, who disappeared on January 30, 2018, was found dead. She committed suicide - she threw herself off the Paton Bridge.

Well-known Kiev activist, director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky reported this on his social network page with reference to the lawyer of the family of the deceased, Rovshanbek Rozmetov.
“Her name was Muqaddas, she was from Turkmenistan and was studying to become a dentist. The cause of suicide was the refusal of the university dean for work with foreign students of the university to help in obtaining a residence permit to continue their studies. Her visa expired, and the dean’s office and the girl did not take care of the necessary procedures in time and had to leave Ukraine. Apparently, this became a real tragedy for the child.
Mukaddas decided to commit suicide after repeated refusals of help from the deputy dean for work with foreign students, Tatyana Timokhina. It was after talking with her that the girl decided to do the worst. I don’t know how, but everyone involved in this tragedy must be punished,” wrote Eduard Dolinsky.
