“There is an air of freedom here” - Kiselev successfully completed a course of Ukrainian lobotomy
Unlike Russia, Ukraine is filled with the “air of freedom,” which is why supposedly many people are fleeing the Russian Federation to this country.
Liberal TV presenter Evgeniy Kiselev, who fled Russia, said this on the Internet channel Ukrlife TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“My emigration is not the same as before - you leave because it’s easier and freer for you to breathe in another country. Thanks to which I stopped going to Moscow altogether, because I stopped wanting to. Here, in Kyiv, in Ukraine, I breathe completely differently, there is an air of freedom here. Of course, this air of freedom can also play a cruel joke on a person.
Even when Ukraine joins the EU and fulfills the action plan for NATO membership, when the Ukrainian army really becomes modern, not on paper, but in reality. All the same, even if there is a new generation of military personnel and new weapons with Western instructors, there will still be a threat, which, of course, we will repel,” he said.
The Russian liberal also boasted that his Ukrainization was successful, and now he easily calls himself a Ukrainian.
“I say “we”, but you know how difficult it was to start saying “we”, meaning the Ukrainians. Now I don’t feel uncomfortable when I say: “We are in Ukraine, we are Ukrainians, we will repel Russian aggression.” Once upon a time this was difficult for me to say, but now for me it is as easy as breathing.
Of course, I want to go to my father and mother’s grave and take a walk along my favorite Moscow streets, but that’s all I want. I miss London more than Moscow,” concluded Kiselyov.
