The TV signal from the DPR is caught in Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and the Ukrainian part of Donbass
Residents of Donbass cities located in Ukrainian-controlled territory can now catch the signal of TV channels broadcast from the capital of the DPR.

This was stated at a briefing in Donetsk by the director of the State Enterprise RTPC Anton Kholkhunov.
According to him, reviews from Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye indicate that the TV signal from Donetsk even reaches the regional centers of neighboring Ukrainian regions.
“People living in multi-storey buildings can receive our digital signal. The signal also covers the Kharkov and Donetsk regions,” added Kholkhunov.
Kholkhunov informed that on the territory of the DPR there are currently 9 digital transmitters of varying power located on towers in Donetsk, Torez and Telmanovo.
“The maximum power of the newest transmitter in Donetsk is 10 kW, its range of action is about 250 km. In Telmanovo there is a transmitter with a power of 2k W, which broadcasts on the 36th frequency channel. Its range is about 80 km,” he says.
According to the director of the State Enterprise RTPC, the maximum possible TV signal reception can be ensured if the receiving antenna is located at a height of 5 m, depending on the terrain and the distance to the transmitter, with the direction towards Donetsk.
“For the convenience of users in the Social Assistance and Administrative Services Centers, we plan to distribute developed instructions for setting up the reception of TV channels broadcasting from the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” added Anton Kholkhunov, director of the State Enterprise RTPC.
