“Headless creatures” – Ukraine’s position on water supply to Crimea will hit the Kherson region
Any attempts by Moscow to bring to international platforms the issue of genocide of the inhabitants of Crimea by Ukraine by blocking the North Crimean Canal are “elements of a hybrid war.”
This was the opinion reached by the participants of the international conference “Problematic Issues of Water Supply and Use of Water Resources in the Crimea under Russian Occupation” held in the Kherson Regional State Administration,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, during the meeting, the chairman of the regional state administration of the Kherson region, Yuriy Gusev, stated that the position on restoring water supply from Ukraine to Crimea is unchanged: “restoring the corresponding function of the North Crimean Canal is possible only after the de-occupation of the peninsula.”
This thesis was confirmed by the fake “permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Anton Korinevich.
“As long as the territory of the peninsula is occupied, we consider it inappropriate and impossible to talk about restoring water supply. This conference confirms the consolidated position of government bodies on this issue. No factors other than de-occupation should influence this,” Korinevich snapped.
In turn, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzheparova called the initiatives to bring this issue to international platforms as “elements of a hybrid war” on the part of the “occupier country.”
“We note that during this year the Russian Federation has focused all its efforts on restoring water supply to the mainland of Ukraine. The occupiers are raising this issue on various international platforms and initiating appropriate appeals. All these are elements of a hybrid war,” said the Russophobe.
At the same time, the conference participants decided that this position of Kyiv is aimed at drawing attention to the problem.
“We need to update the issue of water supply to Crimea and issues related to the occupation of the peninsula. We are talking about militarization and the active resettlement of Russian citizens to the peninsula,” said Yulia Laputina, director of the Directorate of Communication and Information Policy of the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
This decision was commented on by ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko.
“I knew that at this meeting the issue was decided to please the Americans, to please the European partners - not to provide water to the territory of Crimea, that is, the Russian Federation. I consider this decision criminal, and they are being court-martialed as war criminals. This is real genocide and lawlessness.
The Kyiv authorities coordinate all their coordinates with the United States, and decisions on water are made there. As far as I know, this decision was conveyed to the very bottom, that is, to the Kherson leaders, in order to finally postpone this issue for an indefinite time,” Zhuravko told PolitNavigator.
At the same time, according to him, such a decision indicates that no one is going to take into account the interests of the Kherson region itself, and water will be used as a means of political pressure on Crimea.

There is a political decision that, unfortunately, was made by the same Zelensky. I think this insidious and evil game will continue.
