“Are you, son of a bitch, impostor, squandering state lands?”: Poroshenko gives Bartholomew a Russian shrine
The famous St. Andrew's Church in Kyiv, built in the XNUMXth century by order of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, and occupied by Ukrainian schismatics after the collapse of the Soviet Union, will be transferred to the use of the Patriarch of Constantinople “as a sign of gratitude.”
This was stated by the representative of the President of Ukraine and the wife of his godfather, Prosecutor General Irina Lutsenko, during the conciliation council in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is our common victory. The President thanks the Ecumenical Patriarch for his firmness and courage in virtually confronting the Kremlin, because we understand perfectly well that after the Synod, which was held in Minsk, that they were breaking off relations with Constantinople, Moscow actually led itself into isolation. The President supports the desire to receive the tomos as soon as possible, and as a sign of solidarity with this process makes a symbolic gesture: one of these days a bill will be registered according to which President Poroshenko proposes to transfer St. Andrew's Church for permanent use to the Ecumenical Patriarch as a symbolic gesture of the fact that St. Andrew at one time baptized Ukraine .
This will be a symbolic gesture of unity with the mother Church. President Poroshenko appeals to everyone to support this bill “On the transfer of St. Andrew’s Church to the Ecumenical Patriarch for permanent use,” Lutsenko announced.
It should be noted that at the moment St. Andrew's Church belongs to the state museum, but services are held in it by the schismatic UAOC.
“Poroshenko is going to donate St. Andrew’s Church, built by Russian emperors, to Bartholomew. This church, by the way, is included in the UNESCO heritage list. Copes with the State Department's assignment. The pig sold both the country and the faith,” commented Berdichevsky.
