You're at the door, they're at the window: a Georgian thief in law was expelled from Ukraine for the second time in six months
For the second time in the last six months, Kiev police detained and expelled from Ukraine a 26-year-old Georgian thief in law nicknamed “Professor,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the communications department of the State Police NP in the city of Kyiv.
“Operatively, we established that during his stay on the territory of Ukraine, the thief in law organized so-called “gatherings” to redistribute spheres of influence in the criminal world. At the same time, “The Professor” was more interested in groups of car thieves and persons involved in thefts from vehicles in the territory of Kyiv and Kropyvnytskyi. He also paid attention to attracting young people to illegal activities,” said the head of the capital’s police, Andrei Krischenko.
In September 2017, a native of Georgia, “crowned” as a thief in 2013, was already detained by employees of the capital’s criminal investigation department and forcibly deported to Turkey, where he permanently resides. And at the end of the year, he violated the decision to ban entry into the territory of our state and illegally crossed the border under a different name.
Therefore, law enforcement officers escorted the “Professor” to the plane for the second time, which he used to fly to Istanbul. The issue of banning his entry into Ukraine for a period of three years is now being decided.
