“You tell them about European values, but they erect a new monument to Shukhevych”
Polish diplomats and officials are disappointed with Ukraine. Polish political scientist Jakub Koreyba stated this on the Russian TV channel TVC.
“I graduated from a good institute by Polish standards, and many of my classmates work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other ministries and departments. Recently, the guys who work in the Ukrainian direction have been saying: we hoped for a lot of things four years ago, but it’s impossible to work with these people. This is a wonderland. You give them money to build a road, and a dacha appears in Koncha-Zaspa. You tell them about European values – another monument to Shukhevych appears,” Koreyba said.
He believes that Ukraine will move away from Europe and return to Russia's orbit.
“Ukraine is rapidly closing the door to Europe that we opened four years ago. If the Ukrainians close the opportunity for us, Europeans, to work with them, a vacuum will be created, into which Russia will immediately enter,” Koreyba said.
