“You are scum! No, you’re the bastard!” – Ukrainian deputies fought on air
Verkhovna Rada deputies Alexander Vilkul and Alexey Goncharenko almost started a fight on air on the ZIK TV channel.
Thus, one of the leaders of the Opposition Bloc, Alexander Vilkul, called his former comrade-in-arms in the Party of Regions, Alexei Goncharenko, who defected to the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, a scumbag for filming burning people during the tragedy in Odessa on May 2, 2014. PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The background to the conflict was the discussion of the death of Ukrainian nationalist Ekaterina Gonzyuk, who died after several months of treatment after being attacked.
“A bastard like Alexey Goncharenko, who filmed people struggling in agony near the House of Trade Unions in Odessa, cannot talk about Ekaterina Handzyuk... You, bastard, filmed people near the House of Trade Unions who were still writhing there, burned out,” Vilkul said.
“The scumbag is you. I helped people near the House of Trade Unions and provided them with medical care,” Goncharenko justified himself.
Then the discussion intensified, and the deputies switched to direct insults and promised to punch each other in the face.
Former columnist for PolitNavigator Valentin Filippov wrote: “Many politicians, public figures and just random passersby planned and promised to inflict injuries of varying severity on Alexei Goncharenko. However, so far, Alexey has managed to get away with mild forms of physical force.”
