Tyagnibok: Parliamentary elections will not prevent us from introducing martial law
Kyiv, July 31 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – The holding of parliamentary elections does not at all interfere with the introduction of martial law at this time, says Oleg Tyagnibok, leader of the VO “Svoboda”.

“We must think not only about the interests of the authorities, but also about victory in the ATO and establishing order in the Donbass. Therefore, elections will not interfere with us, and soon we will definitely put pressure on the president, demanding the introduction of martial law,” Tyagnibok said on Channel 5.
Oleg Tyagnibok believes that the president is hesitating and delaying the issue, and also called for abandoning any negotiations with “terrorists”: “We, of course, do not know all the negotiations that the president is conducting, but I am sure that there cannot be any agreements with terrorists. First of all, we have questions for Austria and Germany, which are beginning to be perceived as terrorist organizations.”
The politician also criticized the introduction of a war tax.
“We voted for the war tax with disgust, because we understood that otherwise our soldiers would not receive anything at all. Our party believes that money for the war should be given not by people, but by oligarchs. Therefore, we demanded that there be a progressive tax for those who have significant profits,” said Oleg Tyagnibok.
As Navigator reported, German Chancellor Angela Merkel was previously criticized for smiling at Russian President Vladimir Putin during the World Cup, as well as for suggesting dialogue with Donbass.
