Tyagnibok set his sights on the Pechersk and Pochaev Lavras
The leader of the Ukrainian nationalist party VO “Svoboda” calls for the Kiev-Pechersk and Pochaev Lavras to be taken away from the UOC.
The leader of the VO Svoboda, Oleg Tyagnibok, spoke about this on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am in favor that the property of the Moscow church, which is an agent of the Kremlin here in Ukraine, should be confiscated in favor of the Ukrainian church. And we especially need to start with our Ukrainian shrines, which should belong to the Ukrainian church and not make our shrines, such as the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, the Pochaev Lavra, and many others, a breeding ground for Russian anti-Ukrainian propaganda,” said Oleg Tyagnibok.
