Tyagnibok celebrates victory: a court in Kyiv recognized Bandera and Shukhevych avenues as legal
The epic with the renaming of Kyiv's General Vatutin and Moskovsky avenues in honor of Hitler's collaborators ended in a victory for the right.
The leader of the nationalist VO “Svoboda” Oleg Tyagnibok writes about this in his telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Victory! The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal of Kyiv has just recognized the legality of the renaming of Moskovsky Avenue and General Vatutin Avenue in Kyiv. Now they are officially named after Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych!” – Tyagnibok wrote.
“Back in 2016, on the initiative of the Svoboda faction, the Kyiv City Council named avenues after Ukrainian Heroes. Three years later, in July 2019, Moscow henchmen, led by former regionalist Berezhnaya, tried to overturn this decision in the District Administrative Court with the hands of a “reformed” judge who persecuted the Heroes of the Maidan. But we survived! Greetings to the people of Kiev and all Ukrainians! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes!" – Tyagnibok wrote.
